A 1,000 targeted visitors to your blog in 30 days or $1,000. Others Online will be launching a free service that promotes people to other people contextually, kinda like Google Adwords but for people. We have partnered with various media companies that reach 60M people a month. If you want to be a part of our 1,000 or $1,000 launch pilot program next month, email me (steinar AT othersonline DOT com).
Seems interesting, but what about people who already get over 1,000 visitors in a month? In a week? Shoot, in a day? I'd like to see this concept though, count me in!

One of the features we're launching is reports on your exposure -- how many people we showed you to, how many showed an interest, clicked on your profile, clicked on your site, etc. So we'll both be able to see just how much exposure we provided you!

BTW, we're not going to involve anyone in this program who is offering "make money fast", "make money online", "get rich now" sorta deals. That's not the sort of blogs/people that others generally find interesting, and that's not what we're about. It just feels too spammy.
Our goal is to display *authentic* people/bloggers who are interesting and helpful to others (in the context of their web browsing). If any user feels "spammy" to others, then their rank will drop very quickly and either they won't show at all, or they'll only show to other spammy users.
The blogosphere has a great nose for spammy content, and rewards an authentic voice, perspective and content. We have designed Others Online for all the long tail bloggers who have something interesting to share but are basically needles in a haystack.
Guys, when I go to your blogs I have a very hard time getting past the top 3-4 inches of the page. The "make money now" messaging makes me want to leave -- it immediately feels spammy. But when I read your posts I see that the content is actually interesting, personal, opinionated, authentic. Have you thought about making your first impression a little more personal and authentic? I'd bet money it would improve your readership.
Anyway, I appreciate your comments and just wanted to share my thinking ....
