Starting around 12:30pm PST this afternoon, toolbar users and widget viewers have been experiencing poor or non-existent service. We're experiencing some performance issues with our database server, which is causing intermittent problems with the user experience. Mike and Neal have been digging in and we think a resolution is close at hand. We apologize for the inconvenience!!
Due to the substantial increase in users over the last week, we've been pushing our system more than it's ever been pushed ... so naturally we're seeing some performance bottlenecks. Please bear with us as we iron these things out?
BTW, we rolled out a fix to this within a few hours. All is back to normal ... until the next time anyway!
