Since we quietly launched our Affinity Profiling Platform in mid-July, we've been working very hard with certain publishers and networks to help them better understand, target and monetize their audience. Top-notch companies too -- like MyYearbook, Wetpaint, Meraki, TotSites, Yuku and more.
I wanted to quickly share what we've achieved as a company in a very short time:
- We now have over 6.1M user affinity profiles, with attention data contributed from over 565K sites across the Web.
- On average, each of these affinity profiles have been updated 32.6 times. You can think of them as page views, but we refer to them as "touch points".
- The partners we're in deployment with now represent over 15M users/month, so the number of our affinity profiles is growing rapidly!
- The partners we're deploying in Nov/Dec represent over 100M users/month.
- We're demonstrating tangible benefit to our affinity-based targeting, in the form of increased revenue, eCPM and click-through rates for partners.
The recent events in the financial markets will no doubt affect our business. While the changes to the capital markets require us to focus even more-so on revenues and profits, we expect the continued softening of the overall online display advertising market to have a positive effect on our business, as online companies look to expand targeting capabilities for direct sales efforts and increase the value of their remnant space at the same time.
